Biography
Nicolás De Leon (they/them) is from the San Fernando Valley, California, and their family migrated from Guatemala and El Salvador. Nicolás received their B.A. in Central American Studies and Chicana/o Studies from California State University, Northridge. They also completed their M.A. in Latin American Studies at California State University, Los Angeles. Nicolás is the co-founder of the Guatemala LGBTI Diaspora Collective, which aims to foster mutual aid initiatives with Queer and Trans communities in Guatemala.
