Naz is a PhD student in the Gender Studies department at UCLA. Naz’s research examines various distances created through the processes that (re)arrange, (re)divide and (de)historicize the spaces that construct the home(land)s, nations, and selves who (can) feel a sense of belonging to them and seeks ways of conceptualizing a feminist relationality that is grounded in unbelonging.
